The intended audience is Extension professionals working in any discipline. The goal of this webinar is to present social marketing as an approach to creating behavior change in Extension programming. The speakers will present participants with an overview of this approach, followed by a discussion of the role of this strategy within the Extension system. Participants will play a role in planning for future trainings on this topic.

- Registration is available at the UF/IFAS Program Development & Evaluation Center (PDEC).
- Extension agents must register through PDEC to gain access to the webinar and complete a short pre- and post- test to receive credit for attendance.

Dr. Laura Sanagorski is an assistant professor in Social Marketing and Program Evaluation. She specializes in sustainable landscape and agriculture. The overall objective of her research is to improve the understanding about the relationship between attitudes and behaviors as they relate to natural resources and sustainability and explore how this knowledge can be applied to Extension programming.
Dr. Paul Monaghan is an assistant professor and Extension specialist in Community-Based Social Marketing. Dr. Monaghan's work focuses on reducing the environmental impact of residential landscaping.
